The farm is a Georgia Agri-tourism site. We have a family shelter for picnics and birthday parties. We offer spring and fall field trips daily for area schools, home schools, church groups, etc.
Our main crop is fresh shelled butterbeans and peas. We begin picking in early June to late October. The business has grown continuously with several area farmers growing butterbeans and peas for us also. We harvest, process, and market the vegetables. The butterbeans and peas are shelled and packed in 8 lb bags. We grow a variety of peas including: pink eyes, zippers, creams, white acres, lady fingers, crowders and black eyes.
We also carry many other seasonal fruits and vegetables grown locally. We operate three seasonal farm markets at their farm in Turner county, in Worth county and on the Cordele State Farmers Market.
