Cool Patch Pumpkins

6585 Milk Farm Road

Labeled as "The Coolest Maze on the Planet," this year's mind-twister will not disappoint coming in at over 40 acres. We've got plenty of activities for everyone in the family, including an African Grass maze for the little ones, the ever popular Corn Bath quicksand pit, tractor pulled hay rides, pedal cars, an Indian village complete with TeePees, a fully stocked refreshment stand with specialty coffee drinks, sandwiches and candy, and endless varieties of pumpkins.

Really fun. Family friendly. Dogs only on weekdays. Make sure you bring a backpack to carry your stuff because you will need your hands to find the paper map. Corn maze entrance is $12. Bring cash to buy tickets faster. Dogs are allowed!

Totally fun and a great experience. I would definitely wanna come back with a group at night and have glowsticks try to get lost in this wonderful maze there's so many different activities for all ages. The weather wasn't bad just right as we went right before dusk. Yes it can take about 45 min or longer depending on what routes you want to take or if you even decide to use the map or just rely on your hunter instincts.

I go every year because I can pick a variety of pumpkins and squash that are still on the vine. It’s family owned and they don’t use pesticides on the patch, so I feel safe when I’m pumpkin hunting. (It’s also cool to see all the lady bugs and lady bug larvae attacking aphids - nature’s pest control.) Love the variety of pumpkins they sell: Cinderellas, blue, dark green, white, minis, standard orange ones, and my favorite - the varieties with the warts! They also grow butternut, acorn, and spaghetti squashes. Be mindful - the parking area is full of dips and bumps. Your car’s shock absorbers will get a workout.

We have come here the last three years with our daughter. She raves about the "corn pit" and the hay mountain. She loves picking her pumpkin from the vine, walking into to the vines and pulling her pumpkin is always a win! My husband and I finally were able to do the corn maze this year, such a blast, even with the map it was an hour of an adventure, laughing and playing!

This place is rickity and raggedy. But the actual corn maze is cool. And the corn bath was cool besides the people spitting sunflower seed shells into it.
