Fresh McKenzie operates on Winnaford Farm, owned by Mary O'Rourk McKenzie, John's mother. Mary takes great pride in all aspects of her historically preserved property and has been graciously involved in the development of Fresh McKenzie. Her experience in sales and marketing are a great asset to our endevour.
Throughout John's years growing up on Winnaford Farm, he was involved in many aspects of farming. From raising beef and pork to successfully operating a hay and produce business, it has been his desire to farm full time. He recently retired from his career as a heavy duty diesel mechanic to fufill this dream.
John's wife Stacey was raised on a wild blueberry and poultry farm on the coast of Maine. As a matter of fact she is a fifth generation poultry farmer, you could say farming is in her blood. Her deep love of animals, gardens and all things that grow make her the perfect match for John as they pursue this farming life.
Please come out for a visit with the ponies, chickens, peacocks and pig. Kick back ,relax, bring a picnic and enjoy life in the slow lane.
