About Us:
Lyon Family Farms is owned and operated by Richard and Shelley Lyon.
They bought this land and started the Pumpkin Patch in 2006, but the family farm is nearby, and both work there as well as on their own farm.
Richard grew up on his parent's farm, Stanley and Martha Lyon, at a time when the family grew primarily 200 acres of Christmas trees, during a time when Stanley was an extension agent.
Today, that farm grows approximately 140 acres of nursery stock, 175 acres of row crops, 50 acres of squash, 150 acres of pumpkins, and this year they are adding several acres of okra and bell peppers.
