History:
Warbington Farms began farming beef cattle and commercial hens in Forsyth County in 1968. The first operation was four hen houses totaling around 80,000 hens. In 1993, two additional houses were built, which occupied 180,000 hens. The egg operation was the main source of income on the farm until December 2010. A lot of change has taken place on the farm since that time. We have converted the old egg packing and old cooler room into what is now a bridal suite. The farm offers a venue for weddings as well as many other events. We have a "hey"ride, petting zoo barn, corn crib, slides, and other fun things for kids to do. Warbington Farms plants approximately 3 acres of strawberries each year for friends, family, and the community to come and enjoy the experience of U-PICK.
During the fall, thousands of pumpkins cover the fields and families come to enjoy the farm atmosphere that they can only find at Warbington Farms. The farm is very involved in Georgia Farm Bureau, Cattlemen's association, and other organizations that support agriculture in Georgia. Our family attends several workshops to continue to better our performance as farmers and to be better stewards of the land. We continue to focus our business on Godly principles and to provide Forsyth and surrounding counties with a family friendly environment assured to make long lasting memories which is near and dear to our hearts. We are a three generation farm and we are blessed to have the opportunity to share our farm with others.
